   Mr. Peterson, the father, d. Mch. 2, 1894.   He purchased for a future home a part of the estate of the Hon. Daniel Webster at Green Harbor, formerly of the grant of Gov. Ed. Winslow, which he added to and improved to the day of his death.   He was a very intelligent man and a great loss to the town.   He was a member of the State Board of Agriculture.   His son George P. is a successful merchant in Providence, R.
