GRAVESTONE RECORDS IN THE CEMETERY AT
MARSHFIELD CENTRE, MASS.

EARLY in July, 1906, the writer, with the assistance of Messrs. John W. Willard and Edward H. Whorf, made copies of all the inscriptions dated prior to 1851, with a few of later date, found on the gravestones in the Cemetery at Marshfield Centre, Mass. These copies were presented to the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants, and all the genealogical facts to be found in them are contained in the following abstracts.
BRYANT
Seth, died 2 August, 1772, in his 59th year.
EAMES
James, died 12 January, 1859, aged 73 years, 10 months, 10 days.*
Thankful, wife of James, died 5 September, 1876, aged 82 years, 10 months, 14 days.*
EDSON
Anna, widow of Ezra of Bridgewater; daughter of the late Abijah White, Esq., and his wife Anna Little; died 12 October, 1811, in her 72d year.
