   ISAAC (John = Susan Ball), was b. at Han., Mass., Feb. 22, 1813.   He m. in Hing. March 2, 1848, Abby F. Gay, dau. of Ebenezer and Mary A. (Otis) Gay.   She was b. in Hing. May 14, 1816.   Isaac d. 2 Apr. 1883, æt. 70 yrs.   "Merchant" at Boston, and, later, deputy collector of the port of Hing.   Resided on North St., near "Magoon's Bridge."

   i.   EDWARD GAY, Jan. 6, 1849.

   NOTE. — Edward, of Rochester, Mass., s. of Kenelm, 3d, by w. Sarah, had Sarah, 1707, who m. (1) Thomas Lincoln (p. 6), and (2) James Whitcomb, who removed from Rochester to Warren, now Weston, Mass.   Bethia, of Scit. and Roger Nichols, int. of m'ge, Nov. 7, 1718.
   General John, b. at Mf'd, May 27, 1702, was for sev. yrs. a resident of Hing., and resided in the house now owned and occupied by John Siders, Main St., near the old meeting-house.   He d. here 17 Apr. 1774, æt. 72d yr.   His first w. was Mary Little, and after her decease he m. a wid. Johnson, b. Barker of Hing.   As a military officer he was distinguished and respected.   He commanded a company in the unfortunate Cuba expedition, 1740; was colonel in the expedition to Nova Scotia, 1755; and commander-in-chief at Fort William Henry on Lake George in 1756.   He also was a councillor of the province.   His ch. were: 1. Josiah, 1730.   2. Pelham, b. June 8, 1737.   3. Isaac, b. Apr. 7, 1739.
   Anna Green, dau. of Joshua and Anna Winslow, of M'fd., d. "at my house, July 19, 1780, in the 21st yr. of her age."   (Rec. of Rev. WINTER.

   TIMOTHY, bt. in, Hing. Feb. 1641, may have been a s. of Timothy of Braintree, or of John or Christopher of Scit.   Martha, a dau. of Christopher, m. in 1668 John Huet, who was bt. in Hing. July 18, 1641.


WOLFE.

   GEORGE ADAM (Henry = Catherine Wright), a native of Hesse Darmstadt, Germany, and b. Apr. 20, 1816.   m. Jan. 1, 1837, Margaret Fisher, dau. of Leonard and Margaret Fisher.   She was a native of Hesse Darmstadt, and b. June 14, 1814.   "Gardener."   Resides on Lincoln St.   (See "Hingham in the Civil War.")
