MRS. SARAH, the wid. of Edward, was for some time the proprietor of a shop at Boston, and after her husband's decease, our rec's show that she was a trader in Hing. She m. here for her sec. hus., Aug. 22, 1689, Capt. (afts. Major) Samuel Eells, and d. at Scit. 2 Nov. 1738, æt. 70 yrs.
NOTE. Mrs. Hannah, m. in Hing. Oct. 12, 1704, Nathaniel Eells of Scit., and d. at Scit. 2 May, 1754. Mary, m. Aug. 3, 1849, Patrick Barry. Ann, a native of Ire., d. 7 Jan. 1860, æt. 62 yrs.
1. WILLIAM (younger bro. of Rev. John, an eminent divine, of Ipswich and Boston), was for a short time a resident of Hing. Freeman March 3, 1636. He d. at Ipswich, 30 Apr. 1694, and by his will of two days preceding, proved 15 May foll., names w. Lucy, who, it is said, was dau. of Emanuel Downing. She d. 5 Feb. 1697-98. The fam. is a very ancient one, tracing back to "Le Signr de Noruile," who came into Eng. with William the Conqueror, and was constable. The
