GRAVESTONE RECORDS FROM THE THOMPSON
STREET CEMETERY, HALIFAX, MASS.
COMMUNICATED BY JOHN W. WILLARD
IN July and August, 1906, the writer, with the assistance of Messrs. Stanley W. Smith, Arthur E. Linnell and the late Edward H. Whorf, copied all inscriptions dated prior to 1851, with a few of later date, found in the Thompson Street Cemetery, Halifax, Mass., and presented the copies to the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants. The following abstracts contain all the genealogical data found in these inscriptions.
ALLEN
Francis Morey, son of Capt. Seth and Lucy, died 4 September, 1825, aged 4 months.
George W., son of Capt. Seth and Lucy, died 2 October, 1829, aged 3 months.
Robert, died 17 June, 1840, aged 31 years.
Seth, Captain, died 15 October, 1835, aged 47 years.
