Wilson, and McBride, and his family, and the two ss. of David Brown, went to Harpersfield.

   The six following families lived in a corner of Stoughton, and were incorporated with the North Parish.

Was son of Theophilus Curtis, of Quincy, and grandson of Henry Curtis, who came from England, and settled in Marblehead.

   Moses Curtis lived where the Rev. Joel Briggs now lives; m. an Ashly; was a Captain in the militia; had five ss. Edward, Theophilus, Ashly, William, and Moses; and three ds. Dorothy, Mary, and Hannah.   Dorothy m. Benjamin Porter; Mary m. Deacon Jonathan Cary; Hannah m. Nathaniel Littlefield.

   Captain Moses Curtis died in 1763, aged 90.

   1.   Edward m. a Howard; was a Captain in the army; had three ss. Edward, Joseph, and Benjamin; and three ds. Hannah, Dorothy, and Naomi.   Hannah m. John Battles; Dorothy m. Captain Abel Thayer; Naomi m. a Badger.

   Captain Edward Curtis removed to the westward.

   2.   Theophilus m. a Thayer; was a Captain in the militia; had three ss. Theophilus, Jesse, and Moses; and three ds. Eunice, Elizabeth, and Relief.   Eunice m. Edmund Soper; Elizabeth m. Captain Simeon Leach; Relief m. Peter Dunbar.

   Captain Theophilus Curtis died in 1795, aged 85.

   Theophilus 2d m. a Keith; had two ss. Josiah, and Theophilus.

   Jesse and Moses died in youth.

   3.   Ashly m. a Hayden; had five ss. Ashly, Jonathan, Barnabas, Isaac, and Simeon; and five ds. Sarah, Hepzibah, Beulah, Molly, and Hannah.   Sarah m. Edmund Pettengill; Hepzibah m. Simeon Howard; Beulah m. a Niles; Molly died in youth; Hannah m. a Thayer.   Ashly 2d m. a Fuller; settled in Hebron, Maine.   Jonathan m. a Wales; settled in Randolph.—He is the father of the Rev. Jonathan Curtis.   Barnabas m. a Phinney; lived in North Bridgewater; had two ss. Bela, and Isaac; and two ds. Olive, and Hannah.   Hannah m. Alpheus Tribou; Bela m. a Lincoln; Isaac m. a Wales.

   Isaac and Simeon went to the westward.

   4.   William m. a Wales; had five ss. William, Thomas, Daniel, Moses, and Samuel; and two ds. Joanna, and Sarah.   Joanna m. Nathaniel Wales; Sarah m. Nehemiah Howard; William 2d m.
