Thomas; his D. Deborah Clift was probably then d.   Winslow's w. d. 1773, æ. 63; he 1789, æ. 83.—His father Gilbert Winslow was son of Nathaniel, who was son of Kenelm, who was brother of Gov. Edward Winslow, and was in Plymouth before 1633.—Nath'l Winslow removed to Damarascotta 1729, testified at York Court 1742, then 63 years old, and of course born 1679.

   John Winslow m. Emeline, D. of Edward Mitchell, a. 1822, and his brother Kenelm Winslow m. Orra, D. of Benja. Pope Esq. about the same time.—Susanna, D. of John Winslow, m. Robert Latham 1649; her mother was the famous Mary Chilton (D. of James and Susanna Chilton who came over in the May Flower 1620, and both died the first winter) who is said to have been the first English lady who set foot on the N. England shore.

   WOOD.—Francis Wood lived in S. B., and m. Sarah, widow of John Hooper and D. perhaps of John Harden, 1710, and had John 1710, Mary 1712, Jonathan 1715, Anna 1717.

   4.   Capt. Simeon Wood (from Mid'o.) m. Rachel, and had Lydia 1753*, Barzillai 1754.   She died and he m. Sarah Weston probably, and had a D. Susanna.   His wife d. 1771, and he m. Mary, wid. of Isaac Keith of Easton 1774 (she was a Randall) and had Sarah 1775.   His w. died, and he m. Lydia, D. of Jeremiah Washburn, and had Rufus 1779, Mary 1781, Simeon 1784, Lydia 1786, Philander 1789, Lewis 1791; he died 1802.   Susanna m. Seth Mitchell.—Simeon m. Keziah, D. of Jesse Dunbar 1809, settled in Boston, and died 1822.—Mary m. Spencer Leonard 1805.—Sarah m. Isaac Hooper 1799.—Lydia m. Cyrus Benson 1806.—Philander m. Martha, D. of Jonah Benson 1813.
