Melvill Otis 1809.   Mehitabel m. Capt. Levi Keith 1811.—Allen m. Mary Brown (sister of Bartholomew, Esq.) and lived in Boston, and d. there 1838.—Isaac Snow lives in Bangor, Me., and m. there.

   41.   Thomas (s. of Capt. Simeon 21) m. Lydia, D. of Anthony Sherman 1781, and had Ford 1783, Martha 1784, Joanna 1786, Thomas 1790; he then went to Tamworth, N. H., and had Simeon, Lydia, Martin*; they are both d.—Ford, Esq., m. Anna, D. of David Howard, and removed to Bangor, and m. for a 2d w. Bathsheba, D. of Capt. Isaac Whitman.—Thomas returned to E. B., and m. Lusanna W., D. of Anthony W. Clift 1818, and had Alice and Simeon*, and d. 1832, æ. 42; the wid. m. Joseph Chamberlain 1839.

   42.   Joseph (s. of Capt. Simeon 21) m. Mary, D. of Thomas Phillips 1780, and had Snow 1781*, Martin 1785, Snow 1789, d. 1810; Joseph 1794, Calvin 1798, Silvia 1800; he d. 1807, æ. 49; she is still living.—Martin m. Susanna, D. of John Hudson 1815, and d. 1828, æ. 44.—Joseph d. a bachelor.—Calvin gone westward.—Silvia m. William Bourn of Hanson.

   43.   Seth Allen (s. of Nathan 24) m. Philibert, D. of Amos Whitman 1787, and had Eliab, and Jane, who d. 1808, æ. 15.   He lived at N. B. with his son Eliab, who gra. B. U. 1817, and is a councellor-at-law; she d. 1835, æ. 68; he 1839, æ. 77.—Eliab, Esq., m. Susanna, D. of John Wales 1817, and has Sarah, Susan, and Samuel A.; his w. d. 1825; he is a Representative of N. B.

   44.   Nathan (s. of Nathan 24) m. Mercy, D. of Josiah Byram 1788, and had Gilbert 1788, Celia 1790, Freedom 1792, Nathan 1796, Willard 1803, Marcena Allen and Mercy Lewis 1805; she d. 1824, æ. 54; he 1829, æ. 63.—Gilbert m. Serena, D. of Ezra Fobes 1813, and removed to Maine.—Celia m. William Pratt 1816.—Freedom m. Clarissa (or Clara), D. of Dea. Barzillai Allen, and then her half sister Sarah Bass, and lived awhile in Boston; is now in E. B.—Nathan m. Semantha, D. of Dea. William Keith; he also lived awhile in Boston, but has returned to E. B.—Willard is also m. and has a family,—Marsena A. m. Lucia Anne, D. of Capt. Branch Byram.

   45.   Alfred (s. of Dea. John 28) m. Betsy Robbins of Watertown 1808, and had Mary Coolidge and Edmund Burke, his w. d. 1808, æ. 46, and he m. Abigail, wid. of Jacob Hayward and D. of Jonah Willis 1833.—Edmund B. gra. H. U. 1838, m. a Russell of Plymouth, and went to Gardner, Me.

   46.   John (from Easton, s. of John, s. of Abiah, s. of John) m. Margaret, D. of Samuel Willis 1745, and settled in W. B., but had no children.
