   17.   Joseph (s. of John 4) m. Susanna, D. of Thomas Mitchell 1724, and had John, Joseph [ Note 6 ], Edward, Susanna, and perhaps Mary, Parnel, Judith and others; she d. 1756, he 1760.—John m. Anna, D. of Nathaniel Pratt 1760, and he and Joseph went to Brookfield; Joseph had a son, Winslow, gra. Dartmouth 1777, and settled in the ministry.—Susanna m. William Allen 1748, and afterwards Isaac Allen and then Dea. Othniel Gilbert of Brookfield.—Mary, perhaps, m. Nathaniel Hayward, Jr., 1762.—Parnel m. David Johnson 1751.—Judith m. Capt. Jona. Willis 1752.—It is difficult to distinguish this family from that of Joseph 8, and there may be some confusion in the accounts here given of them.

Martha Hartwell 1756, and had Chloe 1758, Caleb 1760, and he and his brother Caleb went to Pelham.—Chloe m. Joseph Keith 1759.—Most of the family went to Pelham.—Desire m. David Clark or Luke Washburn 1763.—She who m. Clark was called of Easton.

   19.   Zechariah (s. of Nathaniel 5) m. Abigail, D. of Richard Davenport 1724, and had Elijah 1726, Abigail 1728, Nathaniel 1730, Nathan 1733.   His will 1771.—Abigail m. Daniel Snell, probably 1753.

   20.   George (s. of Nathaniel 5) m. Mary, D. of Samuel Edson 1728, and had George, Jonathan, Lydia, Rebecca, and Ichabod; he d. and she m. Jonathan Mehurin 1740.—Lydia m. Seth Lathrop 1751.—Rebecca m. Jona. Chandler before 1754.
