   Sylvanus (s. of Jonathan 43 a) m. Almira S., D. of Dea. Edward Paull of Taunton 1838, and had Edward Everett 1840, Robert Franklin 1842, Caroline Eliza 1843; he d. 1875 and his widow in 1891.

   Edwin (s. of Jonathan 43 a) settled in Taunton, m. Betsy, dau of Zebulon Field 1831, and had Sarah Elizabeth 1833; he d. 1881 and his widow in 1884.

   Sylvanus (s. of Robert 43) settled in Charleston, S. C., and m. Margaret Howard 1806.   Had Caroline Eliza 1807; his wife d. 1816, æ. 41.

   Caroline E. m. Geo. W. Coy of Providence, R. I., 1828, and had Caroline Keith 1829.   Sylvanus (above) together with Mr. and Mrs. Coy and daughter were lost on the Str. Pulaski on the voyage from Savanah to Norfolk, Va., June 17, 1838.
