The monument of Alice Stetson, daughter of Abisha Stetson, was unearthed in excavating, and erected next west of No. 20. She died Feb. 28, 1815, age 16 mos.
The monument of Thomas Otis, who died Feb. 9, 1797, was also excavated and given a place next east of Hannah Otis, No. 91. Both these stones were manifestly out of place.
No. 5 was a foot-stone to No. 4. No. 6 a foot-stone to No. 241. No. 7 foot-stone to 242. No. 8 a foot-stone to 243. No. 18 a foot-stone of No. 16. These foot-stones were all re-erected, with the monuments to which they respectively belong.
All the graves from 41 to 72 on the front line were moved back slightly, or lowered, as the improvement required, but they remain in the same order as before.
