178 BRIDGEWATER,

[Transcribed by Arthur Richardson]

                     Forever gone, O how we miss
                     Her gentle foot-steps now;
                     The low, soft tone, the pleasant smile,
                     The sweet and sunny brow.
                     O may we live as she has lived,
                     And tread the paths she trod;
                     To reach at last a noble sphere,
                     A home like hers with God.
