146 [158] BRIDGEWATER,

[Transcribed by Arthur Richardson]

                       Our God is love, his promises are sure;
                       Great is his power, none can his wrath endure;
                       Oh, do not slight this loud and solemn call,
                       And while you mourn for me, make Christ your all.

   127.   In memory of Asa Morse, born June 14, 1787, died Apl. 13, 1859, aged 71 yrs., 11 mos.
                       He is not dead but sleepeth.
                       Them also which sleep in Jesus
                       Will God bring with him.

   128.   Susanna, wife of Asa Morse, born Dec. 15  1795, died Nov. 28, 1862.
                       Thou the Christian's path hast trod,
                       Dearest Mother, rest with God.

   129.   To the memory of Susan, wife of Hollis E. Howard and daughter of Asa and Susanna Morse, who died Feb. 26, 1850, aged 31 years.
                       Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord
                          from henceforth, yea, saith the spirit,
                          that they may rest from their labors.

   130.   To the memory of Sarah A., daughter of Asa and Susanna Morse, who died April 27, 1851, aged 15 years.
                       Her life's brief journey ended,
                       Its thorny path untrod,
                       And here she calmly sleepeth,
                       To wake and dwell with God.
