   218.   Thomas C. Briggs; died Jan. 21, 1861, æ 55.   Affectionate remembrance prompts this tribute of respect of a widow'd wife and orphan children, in commemoration of a belov'd husband and rever'd father.

             Leslie P., wife of Edward E. Keith and dau. of Howland Lawton, died Mar. 25, 1867, æ 32 yrs., 11 mo., 24 ds.

                       God knows why.

   221.   Louisa P. Hill, wife of Philip E. Hill, died Dec. 23, 1876, aged 76 years.
                       Her last words — Let not your hearts be troubled.

   222.   Philip E. Hill, born Sept. 2 1807, died April 12, 1877.
                       Gone home.

   223.   Chas. S. Wentworth, Co., D. 18th Regt. M. V., died at Bridgewater, Apr. 13, 1866, aged 27.

   232.   Joseph A. White, Co.. A. 11th Regt. M. V., died at Washington, D. C.. Mar. 11, 1864. aged 44.

   233.   Ernest W., son of Joseph A. and Lucy S. White, died Oct. 12, 1876, aged 14 yrs., 11 ms., 7 ds.
                       We loved him on earth;
                       May we meet him in heaven.

   236.   James Madison, son of Galen and Sally Harvey, born March 28, 1828, died Dec. 22, 1864.
                       Thou art gone but not forgotten.
